Walking along Boulevard Saint Germain and Rue du Bac, I came across a number of home stores with beautiful windows.
Sleek modern kitchen with an interesting exhaust hood.
But this store below drew me in.
It had a nice mix of traditional and modern furniture. I liked the oval-back chairs together with the informal dining table.
I went to the back to greet the shopkeeper "Bon jour" (even if it was evening) and then proceeded to browse the entire store.
Or more accurately, proceeded to take pictures of everything. When I don't have the luxury of time to spend hours admiring what I'm seeing, I take lots of pictures.
Then I can enjoy the pictures later on at home, for hours and hours.
Let's go down these steps and see what's downstairs...
Down at the basement display...
I love this idea of old newpapers framed in distressed mirrored frames.
I love these Louis XVI bar stools...
What you can do when you don't have enough tela
Retro/modern shaped sofa. This could definitely be in my family room (be gone Lazy boy!)
Purple transferware. Nice!
I only looked at the store name after I left. Roche Bobois.
Well of course! I've seen Roche BoBois stores in other places, but seeing it right in Paris has a different effect.
